Sumi

A daydreamer that enjoys quietly observing others. Soft-spoken and reserved, Sumi prefers expressing herself through gestures and her expressions rather than words. Her timid nature made it difficult for her to socialize with others, as it makes her feel anxious and overwhelmed. She would often hastily slink away before any interaction can be made. Sumi is also kind, compassionate and empathic to a fault. Sumi has always been a crybaby and is prone to tears.

Her early life was marred by tragedy and grief. She was isolated, shunned and excluded from most-day-to day activities and forced to battle the older Petalynths from an early age. She was also subjected to constant sneers, taunts and insults with only. Her low self-esteem, perfectionism and brutally high expectations for herself; the pressure tore her apart and she developed some self-destructive tendencies.

After the first incident, Sumi remained in Eden long enough to finish her training as a healer before leaving to start her travels. She has an active imagination and often gets lost in thought. Sumi enjoys the process of creating and would often make drawings that she stores in her realm. Having been exposed to death from such a young age, she knows how fragile it can be. As a result, she appreciates life's beauty much more deeply but also grieves just as much. Sumi sees death not as an end, but the beginning of a new journey.

Sumi always had a love for the natural world around her. The peaceful freedom was what she always wanted and forever needed. Climbing hills, valleys and mountains, venturing through fields, exploring deep forests and ending with the rolling waves of the ocean. Sumi loves to experience what the world offered and would revisit the same locations during her travels.
